Question Subframe conversions

I want to put a newer subframe on my 92 zx 7. i planned on finding one from a newer zx 7 like 01-03 or a zx 9. does anyone have expirence with this and wants to give a few tips before i buy everything and get dirty.

makes sure the mounting points line up with the frame mounting points or you'll be kicking yourself.

if you have to cut it your gonna need a jig to make sure it does warp....

how do i compare mounting points with the frame with out just going on a limb and buying a complete subframe?

ask someone for measurements. or call kawi for details.or find someone with a newer 7 and become good friends and ask him to compare the subframe with you..or find a really cheap one for sale...sorry i couldnt help just telling you what you already knew...haha

take you bike to your local dealer that sells used bikes and try it that way...i would just buy one for the heck of it....
