Quick question

I have noticed that when I ride I can not twist my throttle open all the way without letting go and changing my grip due to limited flex in my rist (this is due to a very active social life, spankin my ). Do any of you guys use the quick turn throttles? I have never ridden a bike with one. my buddy has one and he told me they are a little hard to get to know, very sensitive. but once he got the hang of it he is much quicker out of the turns?
Thanks guys

I'm running an R1 throttle tube on my zx6r. I can get WFO without re gripping now. It only took a couple rides to get used to it.
The tube cost $15.00 from Yamaha and no mods needed.

I have an 05 ZX6R and I used an 05 R1 tube. The same R1 tube worked on my 675 as well.
Why Mickey Mouse it with a zip tie when you can do it the right way for 15 bucs?

Cause it was free and known about.

My bike is an 01 and not an 05 or a 675.
And, if an 05 R1 tube works on an 05 or
a 675.........who knew? Not I.

But thanks for the info.
What will work on 01s?

.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to stir up shit.... my post was directed to the OP who was thinking about using the zip tie.
The R1 tube should work on an 01 as well. Most throttle tubes are pretty similar in design. If it doesn't work...you're only out $15.

Im going to have to keep an eye out for one.

So far, mine has held up.
