So I got a 2amp charger and when i hooked it up the battery was still at 75% charged only took about 2 hours to get fully charged which sorta begs the question whether or not it would have lasted another 2 months till the season starts without being charged... everything seems fine though im happy :D
Yeah, I was gonna say, may be best to take in and have it tested anyway, just to be on the safe side. Would suck to get 40-50 mi from home and have it take a shit.

Chances are that after sitting for two months if it still had had a decent charge that it's ok. My only question is that you said it had 75%. 12V battery, 75% =9V. Is that what you meant? that it was down to 9V? If that is the case you should definitely do a load test on it after charging. Even a marginal battery won't leave yiou stranded though as long as your charging systerm is working right. and you don't leave it sitting for too long.

all i meant is the indicator on the charger said it was 75% charged, ill get it tested as you guys say to make sure (i dont want to get stranded) :(
thanks everyone
Yeah, the main reason for a test is that you could put a meter on it and it could read 12v but once you put a load on it, it could lose juice quick. And you wouldn't know by just a volt meter or the charger reading 100%.
