ZX11 frame material
What is the frame made of in a 1992 ZX11? Is it aluminum or some sort of steel?

This one is probly aluminum too. I just wanted to ask real quick. I don't have any aluminum to weld for a bracket...thx

I believe it's 6061 aluminum alloy. Almost nothing is made from pure aluminum. It can be heliarc welded.
