Hi all newbie here i just got a 2000 ZX6R-J1 from ebay, i then asked my insurance company to give me a quote to add this to my other bike policy. I was then asked if it is -6R /6R Ninja or 6RR Ninja err, can anyone tell me what the differences are as my bike looks the same as the ones that have a Ninja sticker. I haven't picked the bike up yet so not seen the log book but a reg check on DVLA site says ZX6R .I will try to upload a picture thanks Gary.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. I may be wrong but I’d say your bike is a Ninja. It may be more of a touring machine than a sport bike though. A photo of two would help!
Most people are off line now. Wait a little and you will get a better answer.
If it says ZX-6R it is a sport Ninja! They may change the model’s name if it is in Europe or in the UK.
