Fuel light on zx6r

So as you know the 02 zx6r did not come with a fuel gauge or light. Are there kits or has anyone added a fuel light? I guess it isnt super important to have but would just be nice. thanks

Not that I've ever heard of. I hardly ever go by that anyway. I reset my Trip. every time I fuel up and track the miles.

I do the same but recently I have been a little harder on my bike and been practicing wheelies so the gas isnt lasting nearly as long. I just dont wanna find out the hard way that I am out of gas lol

Whenever you're wondering, open the gas tank and give the bike a wiggle.

Anyway you gotta have a reserve on that bike... mine has it, so that's why I don't have fuel light...

Yeah I do have a reserve. I guess I just want it just to have it. I have searched everywhere and have not seen that is has been done so I am going to attempt to come up with something. Now the regular zx ninja of the same year had a gas light I believe. If not it was the next gen that did. Sorry if I am mistaken I am new to this and have seen mix facts about the bike. If that is the case then assuming the tanks are the same shape/size I should just be able to mount one of those tanks and wire the sensor to a light. We shall see how this goes
