Connect Turn Signals

I went to the track on 10/26 NJMP. At tech inspection, I had to remove my mirrors on my 08' ZX-10r. I don't know how the disconnected the wires. I placed the mirrors back on the bike, but wires just hanging now :-(. Somebody help me. Send me a pic or describe where the wiring connect.

Thanks

There should be a small harness connection somewhere close to the mounts. It should only be two wires going into a small connector. They're in there somewhere, you just have to find them.

Post a pic if u can. I'm thinking they disconnected the mirrors at the harness under your gauge cluster. If so, u should have two connectors hanging out, a black and a grey. If that's the case, remove your windshield. Take two screws out of the base of your gauge cluster. The next part sucks because the rubber grommets that your winshield screws to have to be pushed or pulled out of plastic that forms upper part of the ram air. Very flimsy plastic. But, once you get passed that, you will find the two wiring harness's your looking for under the gauge cluster. Matching colors make connecting the blinkers back up easy.

Be warned - the plastic is flimsy and cracks easily. Probably easier to just push the rubber thru. Trying to pull them out will just break your plastic. Installation means pulling the rubber thru as gently as possible.

More warning - According to the service manual, the gauge cluster CANNOT be stored, rested, or left hanging on it's side or upside down. Make sure u leave it right side up once u move it out of the way. Idk what damage could occur, but I'd rather not find out the hard way.

Good luck. Hope this helps
