Okay, so I have a 2004 zx6r 636 Kawasaki Ninja.
I have the stock exhaust but when i go to slip it onto the collector pipe its clearly to wide (clamp doesnt tighten it down) the previous owner of the bike did have an after market exhaust on which leads me to believe there is a part missing! Does anyone know what could be the missing part is it just a reducer pipe that would have to slip on or what?
If the previous owner had a full system on, the header/mid-pipe would have been replaced. I'm thinking you didn't turn those back to stock, right? That would be it then. You could have someone fab something up for you or you could get the rest of the stock system. Good luck with it.
