UPDATE: factory pro shift kit installed(new detent spring and roller bearing & arm and a new shift star) and a very thorough cleaning of the trans inside and out, and some reassembly and she seems to be better than new....i havent done a test run because the frame is @ the powdercoaters i can tell you that even on the bench there is no sticking between gears, no false neutrals and no sloppy feel like there was before.and i dont have to cram the hell out of the shifter!!!..i done the same tests before, as i did after the new parts and could hardly get it to cycle through the gears, now its not a problem!! not to mention the shift feels MUCH FIRMER which should give anyone more confidence while riding hard! for being such a small mod i cannot wait to see how it performs!! thx for all the help and ideas!!
