Front fork overhaul

Anyone got any tips on overhauling upside down forks. I've done the other type but not ventured into upside down land.

have your manual at hand.. there are a couple specs that need to be heeded... they are nto all that bad/different from reg. style forks... other than the fork cap setting (the nut underneath has to be at a certain height on the shaft -this is where your manual comes into play)
heres a decent write up for ya.... ya they are dirt bike forks but close enough for what your doing..

The zx6r forks are nearly impossible to do without a fork spring compressor tool. Once you find a way to compress the spring everything else is pretty easy.

Not that simple.... Because of the design of the zx6r forks you need to compress the spring ALOT to get the job done. I don't know anyone who has been able to do these forks without some kind of tool to do the job.
