05 ZX6R electrical short somewhere WTF

the bike has 20k miles on it and recently started shorting out somewhere in the ignition system. when I hit it full throttle it just boggs and then i let off halfway and it slowly accelerates, wont go past 10.5k rpms in every gear. changed the plugs, took off the secondary butterflies, checked all fuses and connections. cant find anything wrong unless theres a short somewhere any ideas would be great!

dont think its a short from what you discribed sounds more like a fuel problem maybe the injectors are going bad but or a fuel pump. Does it run fine other than when you get on it if so its most likly not a short. If it were a short you would be having problems most of the time not just when you get on it. Hope that helps
