sprocket and chain

I have a zx6d with 30k and the chain/sprockets are beat. I am considering changing them out for a new 520 conv. kit. I found one on ebay for a vortex brand for under $150, x ring chain, front/rear sprocket. What is the ideal tooth count for front/rear and has anyone used this brand or anything? thanks

ive had no problems with my vortex 520 kit on my 96 zx6r
my bike stock had 15/40 sprockets and i switched to 14/42
-1/+2 is the way to go for sure should have come stock with it
you will loose 5 mph or so at top speed but its worth it
