Question Need info on OEM wheel part #'s

I bought a wheel for my 1995 ZX7 off ebay, but it turns out it won't work on my bike. It is a 17"x6.00" wheel , and the numbers on it are: R-1359 J 17xMT6.00 . Does anyone know what model this wheel is off of?

It's my own fault , I guess, for not checking it more closely. I stripped the green paint, polised the rim, and painted the center black. Only problem is the offset is all wrong. The brake rotor is almost a half inch from reaching the caliper.

I'd like to find out what model the wheel is from, so maybe I could re-sell it , or maybe find someone who has modified the same wheel, and can help me make it work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Looks like a 94 -97 zx9R But the 94-97 9r is suppost to be the same as the 96-03 zx7!
YA and if yours is a 95 it will not fit. 91-95 should be the same

Thought. Kawasaki.com has an online parts manual. You may be able to do a reverse search if they go back that far.

Exclamation

The wheel fits between the swingarm, and the chain appears to line up fine too. Is there a chance that a rear brake bracket, and rotor off a 9R would make it work, or am I wasting my time even contemplating it?

It kind of looks like a later ZX-9 wheel, 2000 to 2003. The distance was about 11" inside on the swing arm with spacers and caliper mounting bracket and the rotor was bit less than 1/2" outside of the edge of the rim bead. The 12 for example had the rotor a bit inside of the edge of the wheel rim. The axel from a 98 and it's caliper carrier/axel and spacers might make a better combo for use on the 7 swingarm.

Thanks for the info. I'll do some checking on that. Much appreciated!

The barrings in a 98-99 zx9R ARE NOT THE SAME AS ANY OTHER BIKE!!!! 94-97 zx9r are the same! 98-99 zx9r are the same! 00-03 zx9r are the same! 91-95 ZX7R are the same 96-03 ZX7R are the same!

98-03 ZX9R's LOOK THE SAME but the berring size is diffrent! 94-97 zx9R rims are the same as 91-95 zx7R.
Just like 91-03 ZX7R's LOOK THE SAME but center width is diffrent.

Not really what I wanted to hear, but that's ok. Just another learning experience I guess. Souldn't have taken the sellers word for it that he knew what he was talkin bout . Lesson learned. Next time I'll take measurements FIRST!
