05 zx6r vibrations

Just found this forum the other day and it has a ton of good stuff on it... Recently got back into riding after an accident a couple of years ago and it feels great. Have owned a few zx 6r's and just picked up an '05 636. It seems to vibrate more than the others that I've had. Had some issues with the standard ticking that I'm learning all of these kawi's have. Had the cam chain and tensioner adjusted, then replaced as well as the o-ring. The shop said the valves were fine. The tick came back again after a few hundered miles and the vibrations did as well. Vibrations Seem to get strong around 6700rpm and up to 9000rpm. When it's at an idle is the only time you can hear the inconsistent ticking but it seems the engine has gotten a bit louder. I was thinking might be some mild valve chatter but don't know. Don't really want to put it in the shop again as it's serving as my cheap (and stress relieving) way back and forth to work. Other vehicle is a wrangler that gets horrible gas mileage...
Just wondering if anyone else has any stories to share with some info.

I don't know about ticking but my bike seems to have crickets in the front fork!!! the sound is intermitent, to me it sounds like somethings loose on the brakes, but I checked and everything seems fine and tight!?!.

Also, the sound from the front wheel is like somethings rubbing, however when I shift to neutral the bike doesn't slow by itself which would happen if something were rubbing...I guess I might just have to bite the bullet and get it into a mechanic.
