Need guidance with gas tank install.

I have a hose that goes from the back of the gas tank to no where and I need to know where is plugs in or if it is designed to be loose. The hose is about 20 inches long.

The bike is a zx6, 1995.
The gas tank has 3 hoses total. 2 of these hoses are on the bottom of the gas tank (normal flow and reserve flow) and both go to the flow control knob (on, off, reserve). These hoses are fine and connected.

The third hose (which is the one I do not know what to do with) is easily accessible just by taking the seat off where as the other two (normal and reserve) are only accessible by taking the gas tank off.

Hope that description helps.

Thx,
Alan

only a stab in the dark, but im thinkin its the overflow. open you cap and pour a little fuel down into the 6mm hole just above and to the side of the filling point. IF it runs out of the end of the tube then thats it. just drop and position it in a safe spot allowing the end to poke out under the gearbox etc and towards the lower fairing.
