After draining the coolant and seeing what appeared to be a large amount of dirt built up in the reservoir tank (14 years of being in the Arizona desert I presume), I need to flush the system. Any suggestions on doing this? Should / can I just use water straight from a hose. Or can I use a flush solution (does any car coolant flush system work?) Any help would be great…..thanks
and make sure you use distilled water if you dont buy pre-mixed coolant... tap water has shit in it that over time will start to clog the coolant passages in the radiator, and also could promote corrosion in the coolant system..
