05 zx6r chain tightening

alright guys i really need to tighten my chain. i dont have my owners manual and i cannot figure it out. typically pretty mechanically incline just having trouble how to do this. any help would awesome. thanx

take out the cotter pin,loosen axle nut, undo the lock nut on the adjuster screws. the spec on the chain is 1.2-1.4". Meaning pull the chain down and then push it back up. The distance that the chain moves is your measurement.

exactly what slider said. had a 98 zx6 that the chain used to loosen up all of the time on me. (every couple of weeks). It's easy and after a couple of times you become a pro...
