i understand motorcycles are fast enough to do something stupid, but for those of us that head to the track and are looking for more of an edge there are some tweaks.
this will be my first kawasaki. a new 2007 zx6r.
i've read about the 'euro-tune' mod that's supposedly worth several HP on the top end. (something about a 'power-valve'; if you care to explain it would be apriciated.) I plan on shedding as much weight as possible, items like exhaust, passenger pegs, tail-lights (quick connect)... I know there is more (or should be) that can be removed, any thoughts?
i don't have the bike yet, but i've found an excellent deal at kawasaki of pasadena & am very excited about the new ninja.
where is the weak point of the engine; what is the most limiting factor of performance?
breathing (head flow or intake/exhaust or TB's), valve actuation (cams or springs or followers), size (i drive a '71 nova. i know why a 400 is a small block & a 396 is a big block

)
i will most likely get wheels, but haven't found any i like, know of any links? i'm looking for something black for the green bike.
all help will be appriciated.
moderators, if this thread will get more helpful attention elsewhere, please move it.
Thanks,
