Parts?? Please help a noob...

Hey guys -
So I pride myself with how much I know about cars, bikes, etc for being a chick. However, I am stumped here. I have basically been willed a bunch of Ninja parts. From the gas tank and the lone handgrip, I've determined that it's a ZX.. but I have NO idea of the year or size.
I can obviously tell that I have the tank and seat, and all that comes along with that.. tail light, signals, etc... the swingarm.. what I believe to be the header, and one spring. Along with this are a buch of random parts and cords and I don't know what to do with them!

Is there maybe an online manual or schematic or something that can help me identify these parts to know how much to get rid of them for?? I only know of one person who could help me do this, but I'm afraid that person may come steal the parts if they were to know I had them... (Kind of a shady individual...) Help????

Post up some pics of what you have and we can try to identify them for you. Once identified you could check eBay for specific prices or the "For Sale" section in this forum.

I'm also in Chicago. I'd be happy to help if I could see the parts. Do you ride?

If you know the person who willed these parts to you, you could go to the DMV and see what vehicles this person has registered in the past. This might give you a start.
