netural light??? Bike wont idle with kick stand down

I just got an 06 zx6r the netural light wont come on at all, and when i let it warm up it wont idle with the kick down because it thinks its in gear. Is there a fuse for that or do you have any ideas?

1. Check that the neutral switch wire is connected. The switch should be in front of the front sprocket (it is on my 03) and will have 1 wire going to it.

2. If it is connected properly and you still have no light, remove it and touch it on the engine cases or frame somewhere and look to see if the neutral light comes on.

3. If it does come on, the problem is with the switch and you have to replace it. If it does not come on you have and electrical issue somewhere.

does the bike actually shift into nuetral? there's is a dumby switch on the kickstand. if the bike is in gear with the kickstand down, the bike will shut off.
