1984 GPZ 750 Battery Light

Hey guys i have the battery light flashing up and down on the digital display. Does this mean there is a charging problem or a battery problem? The bike starts fine with no struggle everytime so im not sure what the light is saying?

check the fluid level in your battery add distilled water to get the level between the lineson the battery that should cure it . mine sometimes blinks when on the sidestand and the level is getting low.

i checked the level and it was good but i added alittle more just to make sure and it didnt help
