o5 636 pinging
I bought an 05 zx6r with a micron slip on. When cold in the morning the bike under idles then over idles for a minute or two until warm, The F1 light is on and the bike idles a little lumpy all around.
I was told the pipe was put on right away in o5 before micron came up with the fix which I'm being told is a relay under the seat cowl. Iv'e also been told a power commander would correct this and kill the F1 light but I am unsure.
Under hard exceleration I think I may be hearing some pinging. Please advise, need to do something and need to have a handle on it so I don't get taken for a ride at the dealership.
