Hi guys, I know I am new so that being said I would like to ask your opinion on a problem I am experiencing on an 06 zx6r i just picked up
Problem
losing power above 13k rpm (more to the point will not go past 13k
will not push much past 100mph ( i am not a squid just trying to diagnose a problem)
Bike history
was riden for 4 months then sat for a year (owner was deployed) then was riden for another 3 till sold.
My diagnosis
Tune up needed BAD! i have already changed the oil and checked the air filter. I still need to do the plugs and maybe run some b44k through her.
I would very much appreciate any input from some of you more experienced owners. the rpm power loss is in 2nd gear and up. I just can't push her past 110 mph. so like i said I could use some advise.
I am considering picking up an extended warranty for the bike and letting the dealership take care of the problem but If i don't have to put down 500 for a 2 year warranty i will.
