Just bought a 1996 zx6r, its got about 17k mi on it... Ive got a few problems with it now that I have NO clue as to how to fix it.... #1. when I shift into 5th anything UNDER 6K RPM the bike bogs down and until about 40mph then surges back to 6k etc. #2 I just rode the poor thing a total of about 800 mi when I moved.... downshifted when I was in slow traffic, twisted my wrist to accelerate, nothing. popped the clutch to restart it... fine, but NO accleration. I came to a stop and now the damn thing wont restart... AT ALL. Anyone have any ideas? Ive never worked on a bike before so being technical is fairly out.... but I do know basics... um help?
