Engine top end noise zx7
I recently purchased a 99 zx7 with 26k miles, the bike sat for a year. I was told it had been started about once a week but not ridden. It has a strange delay between the time you press the starter and when it actually starts. But my real concern is the rolling knocking noise coming from the engine top end. Aside from low rpm hesitation the bike is running pretty strong. But this almost dieseling noise is just about as loud as the exhaust. Has anybody got a idea what this might be.
