Question about zx7r carb

Hi,

I asked this question in another area and so far no one had an answer. I think I might have posted in the wrong area, so here goes.

I just bought a 1999 ZX7R and I'm interested in installing a slip-on exhaust on it. My question is, since it's a carbed engine, can't I just adjust the fuel ratio by using the fuel screw adjuster on the carbs without having to buy a jet kit?

Forgive my ignorance, I never owned anything with a carbureted engine before.

no, it needs to have the right pilot needle in the carbs.

theres 4 of them too.
ha, id just buy the appropriate needle for the carbs so it will save you from buying the kit.
