engine codes

hello all, iv recently been offered a spare engine for my 07 zx6 track bike. but before i buy it, i want to check the engine codes are the same. how do i figure out the engine code from the engine number? thanks

These two engine numbers came out of the manual with regard to crankshafts.

ZX600PE008560 and

ZX600PE008561 ~ Hope this helps.

yeah iv got zx600pe0 on this one. the bloke now thinks its a 636 engine. but surely that would say zx636?

My old '06 636 had the engine number:-
