06 636 power loss at high rpm
Hello guys and gals,
This is my first post so i would like to say hello and ask for some insight. Alright I just picked the bike up yesterday and she seems to be low on power above 12k rpms and has trouble pushing past that range at speed. Now the bike sat for a year and was riden on for about 7 months on either side of that sit time. I was wondering if anyone has experianced this issue with their bikes and how was it solved, bike has 5k miles on it.
Here is what i was planning to do
Inspect and replace the air filter, perhaps with a bmc or a K&N
New oil and filter
new plugs
basic tune up.
Also what is the normal operating temp on the zx6r?
