adj valves

I am adj valves on 93 ZX11C , is there any thing I need to know about doing this not in books . Thanks

When I pulled timing cover the rotor is not stock . It has a VHR on it , does anyone know anything about them ? It has only one mark on it T . To adj valves Fine TDC for no 1 and turn one rev to set the other ? Any help is needed . Thanks

you can tell by the position of the cam lobes when you're at TDC.
