1991 zx6 two seat conversion
hello all i'm new to the forum but not the game. just seein' if you guys know what I need to convert the ol' 1 seater to the 2 seat style. I'm getting the bike here in a few days so any tips would help. thanks.

unless it's been significantly modded, all you should need is the stock seat cowl, the rear seat, and a few nuts and bolts depending on how it looks under there. good luck!

yeah the bike is stock.......
so what your saying is...i need parts from a 2 seater bike, not real familiar with kawi, so what year did they make the zx6 with 2 seats?

oh, i'm not sure there is a "2-seat" version of this bike. that's it, the one you have. i take it you mean you want to separate seats? that would require some work, but like everything else, is very possible. if someone else doesn't point out an easy "2-seat" conversion for this bike in the next couple of days, i'll help you through the more difficult process of converting this bike.

get a newer bike and save your self the head ache...
not to down what you are trying to do, i am all for doing stuff different, but trying to give that bike stepped seat??? I dunno, i guess it's possible, but don't get your hopes up...

once again, if someone who done this before chime in and help out. i'll wait another day before we start diving into the process of changing it up the old fashioned way, some work and some brain, i'll help you out on that second part!

ha i'd love to just save myself the headache and buy a new bike, but.....can't do that....this is what i'm getting and i'm going to change it. i'll have the bike hopefully by the end of the week, so i'll know more then.
