Scott's Steering Damper
Anyone have a Scott's steering damper?
-what does it feel like to ride with?
-Do you think it has saved you from a speed wobble?
-any negative points (apart from the price)?
thanks for any feedback.

except the ohlins on the 06/07 10r, (kawasaki spec). not a great difference at all between the softest setting and the firmest. mine stays on the hardest setting all the time, until my warranty is up!

what does the warranty have to do with the setting? do you void it if you turn the damper softer?
Also, what does turning feel like with a damper? is it more difficult to turn?
How about on the twisties? what happens if you dont change the setting to softer?
thx

It has nothin to do with the warranty. U can chage it now if u want to
Turning with a dampner is wierd at first, it takes gettin used too.
For twisties it helps a little, the biggest mod u can do is change ure suspension settings

yeah whoops, all i meant was theres not that much of a difference between the softest and hardest settings.full stop. and i wouldnt be altering anything such as a heavier oil used or changing the kawa spec needle to an original ohlins spec until after my warranty is up so i dont void it. sorry for my incomplete and somewhat confusing reply.

I would be a little worried if a dampner affects your twisties riding. try a little more lean and a little less on the bars , your not riding a HD
