Winter blues

Hey guys. I bought one a month ago and still am yet to drive it. It is still at the dealership. Waiting for the snow to melt and hopefully a heavy rain to wash the salt off the roads. I already bought a euro cut cee-baily wind screen and bar risers. I will buy a muzzy stainless soon, but will wait til the wife gets over my reckless spending. I must admit that you guys have scared me alittle with your complaints about the bike. I hope I like it. I will give you my feed back when I have some.

Don't worry about the vocal few. You haven't heard from the hundreds, like myself, that love this bike and have nothing to complain about. Trust me when I tell you that you won't regret your purchase. After all have I ever lied to you before?

Hey Gator, I just bought mine 3 days ago and put 350 miles on it yesterday. I too have nothing to complain about. The handling and power (under 4k rpm) are amazing. I am truly happy with my purchase. The only thing I could say is in the Winter it would be nice to have a taller windscreen but you already have that covered. This bike is seriously addicting and I am constantly thinking about when I can fit in another ride. You are a strong Man to have your bike sitting at a dealership. I'd snowblow a path all the way to my house :) Good Luck melting the snow!

Gator,

I have changed a few things on my C14.. I got mine back on 7/7/07 (lucky day)... I have over 10,000 mi on it and it still amazes me everytime I get on it. I changed the shield, but retain the stock bars and seat, with only a sheepskin (alaskaleathers)....

Moravecb... I got some bad news for you... the addiction doesn't go away with 10,000 miles... it only gets worse. At the end of every riding day.. i'm glad to reach the destination, but sorry the ride is over...

Have fun and ride safe,

Jerry
