I just purchased the Kawasaki Tank protector kit and applied it correctly as per instructions, however my knees or infact my legs don't come anywhere near the side tank pads. Are these just meant to be for asthetic appearance?I have since applied clear 3M material in the places lower down that my knees come incontact with.
