A good buy

Happy New Year from Spain, the first mission that I have is to fix the GTR, and thanks to this forum and information volcáis that, in order to begin the task of restoring the bike,Purchased by 12360 dollars, In Belgium,The price of new parts have a value of 3900 dollars,Spain in the price of the new GTR is 23545 dollars,I have already found some pieces at a good price: http://cgi.ebay.es/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=330189212786

Sorry for your misshap...and welcome to our forum Brile.
Looks like it could be well worth a claim on your insurance though. Can't see you getting both side bags on ebay anytime soon.

What were you doing...squeezing between two trucks?

We may have the wrong end of the stick here..

My reading of Brile's post is that he has got a Good buy on the smashed up bike from Belgium ,

And it will be cheapish to repair and he will save big money on the price that the bike would have been in Spain..

What do you think ??

Brile...are you saying that you bought the bike that the guy from moto journal crashed last summer? If it is the case I would be surprised if the frame is not bent or cracked. Have you ridden it yet? does it not pull to right or left?

WOW!! ..That must be THE MOST famous 1400GTR on the planet. 30000 hits on the video already. I remember when it first happened and we all thought what a **** the journo was. Check that frame and steering out though, flipflop crashes put loads of stress on the bike.
