Luggage racks in Australia

For the info of GTR owners in Oz. I have just purchased a luggage rack and top box from the Hepco Becker agent here in Qld. The rack is all steel and replaces the plastic OEM one. It is superbly made and being steel very robust. There is one more rack in stock at the moment and an assortment of top box styles and sizes which suit this rack also in stock. The rack is $204 aus. I suppose by the time you import one from the States or wherever it will run out about the same cost? If you are interested have a look at www.motorcycleadventure.com.au and talk to Ron. He runs an efficient email order system. I have no affiliation with Ron..he just runs a good show.

I have ordered one of Phils ally ones, so I am sorted. But for info I looked at the H&B site and they don't sem to do one. I note that you said the dealer was H&B agent but not that it was H&B rack. Just wondering.

Yes they are a H&B rack. I found their web site a bit difficult to navigate ie found the rack once but could never find it again. So I got the local agent to check it out. They are also color coded to match either the silver or black.

I've got one of those nice (topbox/ribbed rack) coming from Premier sometime soon, I like the look and functionality of it, especially with the topcase mounting that retains the style of the rack when not using the box. it looks roomy too for a rack!
