On my ST1100, the side hard bags were watertight-ish. Non the less I drilled a 3mm hole in the lowest point of each case to allow it to breath and to allow any water out in the event that any got in for example if I trapped something in the lid. I did the same on my Tiger.
I was going to take the 3mm drill to the lowest point at the front of each case of my GTR1400.
Anyone else done similar? Comments?
The bike is only done 50 miles and I am in farkling mode while the weather is grim.
