Concours 14 complaints

The above link will allow you to search the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration database concerning complaints filed about the C14. Simply click the "search complaints" button and enter the relevant information as prompted.

There are complaints filed concerning heat and saddlebag latches.

How do you get burned legs? Was the "Contact" wearing shorts? I'm not saying that it couldn't happen, but I think that there are extenuating circumstances that are not being mentioned.

Having experience my left bag latch breaking, I honestly don't think the bag would actually come off. One of the plastic red pins sheared off on mine. If you closely examine the latch, the pins are just guide pins, not load bearing pins (like the other 2 metal ones). Not saying it couldn't happen, but the bag coming off due to one of those plastic pins breaking is unlikely.
