What a way to wake up!!
I am here to tell you, there is no finer way to wake up. This morning, as I pulled up to a light (at 5:30), a 350z pulled up next to me. This light is about a 1/4 mile from the in ramp to I64, and it is very commn for cars to get into the left lane in hopes of passing the ones in the right lane and jump on the interstate.
It was obvious that was what this jackass wanted to do. The 14 was frisky and did not want that to happen. Stayed next to him so he couldnt move over, then lost him on the beautifully curved onramp (one of thos "hell on a straightaway" guys... Then slowed at the top to see what he would do next.
Apparently he thought that the bags and raised windscreen meant that he could keep up on a long straightaway. Wouldnt you just hate being shown you were wrong twice in about a minute? I will admit that I wasnt paying close enough attention to the tach, and hit the limiter in second, but it was all over a few seconds after that anyway. God I love having a true sleeper...

Corvette, nice....
well, shortly after I made those previous comments I went to enjoy some nice country bends...
with a cuppa and an apple pie midway I had 4 hours of almost empty winding roads...and some fast freeway on the home route, had to get back to help a friend empty her stuff out of my house... (dry xmas for me maybe )
Stinking hot here, high humidity and a big storm front on the way.... glad I got this ride in, keeps the blood flowing doesn't it!!!
