Dyno for TBR Ti can

Well we finished today. These mods turned this bikeinto a beast. Flick of the wrist power wheelies area cinch now. ...the bottom is unbelievably strong.

I tuned the Conk on a Dynojet 178 (I think that's the number). It's an older dyno they don't make any more designed for 1200 lb Legends race cars. I've tuned numerous bikes on it and it's conservative...usually by 5 or 6 hp on big street bikes. My stock run with no mods the bike rang up 130 hp and 90 ft-lbs. I think most guys using a dynojet 250 are seeing 136 to 140 from a stocker. Two Brothers shows there stock Conk run at 142 and after the can install 147...for a 5 hp gain. It;s all kinda relative.

After I installed the TBR Ti can the bike rang up 138 hp and 91.5 ft-lbs. That's no other mods or PC3 installed.

Next we pulled the flies, installed a BMC air filter and PC3. After the custom map here are the results:

The most impressive part of this dyno is the gain in bottom. After flies were pulled it looks like we gained 20 ft-lbs from 2500 to 2700 rpm.

Here's a run after all tuning where we inserted the Two Bros PR1 powertip. The tip is suppose to reduce noise while minimally hurting power.

I have the custom map file for this setup (TBR can and flies out) for a PC3 if your'e going this route.

MOO!

WOW! Flies out seems whacked out but fun. How is it at low speed around town, u turns, parking lots, tight twisties with the flies out.

I haven't had it in the twisties yet. But riding at normal speeds it is fine. The bottom feels "bottomless". But it is very controllable...not "wack" at all.

However if you "whack" it...it gets "wack" real quick. This beast will power wheelie at will. The mod is awesome if you want a bottomless bottom. It almost feels like the gearing has been lowered in 1st...except it just keeps winding out the top.

Having said that I probably wouldn't recommend this mod for just anyone. If you are not experienced with high horsepowered BIG street bikes this mod could get you in deep doo real fast. With this mod (tuned to the nines and flies out) the bike has the propensity to literally explode right off idle. ....and any other emoticons that might be appropriate.
