Did like Girevik. We may even need to use them today. I also put Hot Grip's infinitly variable thermostat in the left side dash opposite the cigarette lighter.

I've put the Kympex grip heaters on both my FJRs. A measley $27 from Aerostitch and plenty effective. The hi/lo/off switch isn't quite as slick as a rheostat, but for the price, I don't mind flipping from hi to lo and vice/versa once in awhile. About a 60 - 90 minute install. I see you've got an FJR also. If you don't already have the V-strom handguards, they're worth every penny and look totally factory.

Last try. WFM it worked...
The camera flash isnt kind as in the flesh you cant see the edges of the copy paper badge! A mate of mine saw it and thought was genuine Kwak. I now have my enamel badge from ebay and will ponder fitting. I quite like my photocopy badge :-)
Thanks Hitman for pics info. No stopping me now

I fitted Oxford heated grips, bloody brilliant. Wired directly to battery so have to remember to switch it off. Heat control in 4 steps, no rotary rheostat therefore no moving parts. Incorporates intelligent switch off if you forget to do it!! Four coloured leds indicate heat setting. Simple to fit

I changed the badge to an eanmel one. £2 from ebay. Cut the pin off the back and Araldited on..
Also pic of GPS RAM mount which is std one modded slightly. I made up spacers to space off bar and used 50mm long screw.
