does this happen to you too??

greetings everyone,
i did not see one post with this problem (or i did the search the wrong way )
since the 1st service (1000km (800ml)) every time i started the motor i let the temp rise to the 2nd stage before riding, the strange thing is that every day with out exception the motor stops every time i go on neutral, today even after i raided 10 miles i come on traffic, i slow down to enter in a narrow spot between 2 cars and my motor stoped again even after he run hot from traffic.
do you guys know anything about this?

regards

What is your engine's Idle speed? Do you know wherer the adjustment knob is on a flex hose down by your left foot? Set your idle at 1050 to 1100rpm when the motor is warmed. Hopefully your idle is just set too low once the motor is warm.

yeah i sow that my idle was about 1000/900 rpm when warmed, ( but this is my 1st bike on FI and i was thinking that only the mechanic would do that )
i gonna adjust the idle to the 1100/1050 interval and see if it do the job.
thanx Jerry

bom dia,

If the idle is like on my older bike, all you need is a screwdriver to adjust it.
On the VFR, it was a little hole on the frame... not sure on the Concours14, since don't have mine yet ;)

ps: 1000km = ~600miles.
Voce e de que zona de Portugal ? Eu nasci em Alcanena, Ribatejo.

it was adjusted to 1000/900, same time near 1000rpm others near 900 (not 950!! it depended on the "what side of the bed " the motor waked up in that morning (it started a week or so after the 1st service, but my guess is that by that time the days were colder 10º/12º C at 8:30, the 2 weeks earlier
we still had a late summer time 17º/20º C ), now, does this have something to do with the FI files?? till now i only had carburetors bikes

@Eugenio_SS da parte do meu pai o padrasto dele tinha filhos no canada
