loading the GTR

i'm looking for the max payload for the GTR but can't find it on the web. Does anyone have it handy?
We ride 2-up most of the time and when touring abroad we carry quite a lot of stuff. I never had any problem with the RT but I'm a bit worried about the GTR. i also heard a few of ye had their luggage carrier frame snapped so it's not too encouraging to stuff the GIVI MAXIA too much.
Before I make my final decision on the GTR it would be nice to hear some feedback from those who do a lot of 2-up riding with with full luggage and topcase. What does the Best Half think of it?

Cheers,

In a comparison article of the sport touring segment, December issue of "Rider" magazine lists the Concours 14 at:
Wet weight as 693 pounds
Load capacity as 425 pounds
GVWR as 1118 pounds

Not sure how this would differ from the GTR....

The manual states a total payload of 200 kg or 441 lbs, including rider, passenger, baggage, and accessories. Page 114

Bought mine in August and have about 6000km on it. I do a lot of two up riding and personally think it's a better bike when 2up.
As you would be aware Oz is a large place with big distances and so have done some long rides. Wife loves the rear seat and I reckon that the rider's seat is getting better with each ride.
We carry lots of gear but you will need to alter the suspension settings to make up for the extra loads.
My last bike was an ST 1300 and this bike is heaps better in all areas.
Hope that helps mate

thanks Horxy...it helps a lot. What topcase do you have and do you stuff it the max weight allowed? I'm still worried about those luggage racks that snapped on a few of the guys on this board....
