Anyone here used or owned a SHARK helmet? Any feedbacks? I've had Shoei's, KBS's, and even no name Ebay brands. Looking to try out Shark this time around.

 on the Schuberth C2.
I first bought the BMW System5. Very quiet and good fit. Then I read that BMW helmets were made by Schuberth so I went to try a C2....even better than the System5 in every aspects plus you get the tinted retractable visor. No need to wear sunglasses anymore.
Though if you want to put an Autocom in, it's real PITA! It took me almost 2 hours to do it. Then my girlfriend wanted a C2 for her b'day to replace her Caberg Justissimo so I had to do the Autocom job a second time...in about an hour this time. We both agree that the C2 is the best lid we ever owned....and it comes in black or silver to match your C14

I also wear an Arai XD, was for the dirt work I did on the old GS, but I find (without the peak) it's brilliant in hot summer times, with plenty of venting!!! ( can't imagine how my head would look like if I'd left the peak on riding the GTR

Nice looking, it seems most of the flip up helmets are noisy...
I'm wearing my AraiXD for tomorrow's journey, going into subtropical humidy/heat so I want good venting...Last night I test-rode my new CB screen (Eurocut) and looks like I won't need earplugs, even with the roomy AraiXD on...
I'll check out some new helmets soon, feel like something new for the GTR...

The Suomy is hot. It has poor ventilation. I just pitched mine (a two year old Baylis replica) in the trash. I too have Arai RX-7s, the Suomy isn't close for ventilation. So consider the Suomy a cold weather helmet or do not consider it at all.

OK, let me ask the Schuberth guys. I like the brow vents on the Arai and forehead vents on the Shoei RF-1000. They put cool air right were it does the most good, on my bare skin. I find top vents useless since I still have a full head of hair. Good insulating R factor with hair. I like the idea of a quiet lid like the Schuberth but am concerned about ventilation. Does the Schuberth have forehead vents? I would think the flip up/down tinted visor would prevent such vents or at least limit their functionality. How well does it work on hot days?

The Schuberth C2 has a vent on the chin bar that vents upward keeping your face cool
The top vent works well as the padding in the top of the helmet is a skeleton and does help to flow quit a bit of air to your head.
mine worked very well on my last hot trip to Spain and Portugal.
Stu..

So here are pictures of the helmet that I purchased. I'll keep you posted on the performance of the helmet, I just have not had the chance to get out.
