Reducing the lenght of the muffler



I have to project to reduce the lenght of the muffler as the picture herebelow

(modified & standart)



What did you think ?
What could be the difference ?

Looks much better. Much more in proportion. I guess the issue would be an impact on emissions.

That is DA BOMB! I plan on doing this ASAP to mine. Several guys have done same to their ZRX exhaust.

Funny you mention this thread. While I was at Daytona this week I looked at all the new bikes. Yamaha has a naked bike (not sure what model) but it has almost the exact mufffler as our C14's, only shorter, just like the photochopped photo above. I will try to get pics and post them.

Looks fine... but he look like not reducing the lenght of the mufflar but repositionning the mufflar much more to the bow.

So they reducing the lenght of the slip on pipe

Meantime it is another good idea
