We would not be allowed to do that in the UK as white light would be reflected, thus we would technically be displaying white light at the rear.

I think it should be the same in France, nevertheless, the law have change last month to authorised white license plate at the rear in follow to coordonate EU regulation.

In Spain, Portugal, Danmark, Belgium... the rear license plate are white !

So hopefully the white reflective will be the same !

You could request that RealTime cut the decals out of a different colour material. There are many colours available.
