Looks great, but my requirements are kinda different because I am probably the shortest guy riding a Connie. So, I had to get it custom made to suit me.

That Corbin Smuggler is kinda cool, but, it would be awesome mounted to the luggage rack!

Yeah Holma, I don't lik that smuggler. Looks like some kind of huge tick or growth feeding off the GTR. Come on Sargeant, don't let us down!

Wow, I was not expecting it to look like that. I am speechless. I agree with a couple of points above that it would be difficult to get a leg over (I have a 32" inseam) and it would have been nice to extend it back to the rack for a more aerodynamic look. I keep thinking that the C14 is a grown up ZX14 and Corbin seems to see it as a Harley. I have heard that it is possible to fit the ZX14 Canyon Sport seat to a C14. Can anyone confirm that?

I think if sargent can make the seat lower and still comfortable it's gonna be the way to go. I like the carbon fx fiber look they have.
I've got an email out to them to see what they can do.

Need feed back. Sargent Cycle is in process development of their seat for the GTR 1400. Should enough interest be generated, we are also considering the addition of the storage POD and backrest, simular to the one offered on our web site for the BMW K1200S, http://www.sargentcycle.com Check out the site and let us know if you would be interested such a release.

All,
I sent Sargent an email in support of their development of a seat for our beloved Concours 14 aka 1400GTR. My suggestion is that you provide Mary, as indicated below your thoughts and suggestions. Cheers, Mugs

Hello Mugz,

I will do my best to keep our progress up to date. Should you put out the word what we have in mind for this motorcycle, we could generate more interest and ideas. I need to know what the riders want and need. All the input we can get will help.

Thanks for your interest.

I installed the Corbin on my bike. I asked them to cut the seat as far as it will go. Well, it doesn't help much in the planting of my feet, and it changes the riding position so that the reach to the bars is much longer. Very disappointed in the outcome.

My Corbin w/heat is on and looks better than the website pics. Will give it a nice break in this weekend in north Georgia and North Carolina. The heat was easy to connect as directed by the instructions.

Hey Corbin Guy, Al here. I ordered mine today. I think the change looks great. And funtional. I had the seat reduced about a half inch and the front tappered with the roll and pleate look. I think that looks classy. I don't know why those guys dissed the look but I think it'll be much better than the stock look. Now I'm not real keen about the smuggler but only from the aspect of the price. I think if I need extra storage I'll go the route of an aftermarket trunk, ie. GIVI. I like the backrest option for the rear seat but I'm going to wait until I see what Santa might opt for. Anyway I'm looking forward to the delivery. Keep up the good work.

Sweet looking seat, my Corbin is on order, hope it doesnt take the 3-4 weeks indicated on my order aknowledgement!! I ordered after I realized the silver "cruiser buckles" on the side of the seat were just heater buttons and figured if it gets that cold that I need a bum heater, I'm driving the car. I know what a wimp!!!!
