Speed Calculator in MPH & KPH for the 1400GTR

Hello all I found a spreadsheet a long time ago and I've updated it to show the 1400 GTR's gears and speed.

The only real variable to change is the rear tire diameter which I found on Bridgestones website as 24.8

Very interesting! Please repost those calculation when you get the exact rear wheel circumference. I'd love to see that.

I measured my tire and it was 24.78 so I put it as 24.8 in the calculator.

Enjoy

Why do you need the wheel circumference unless you plan on adding a digital gauge with its own sensor and pickup? I thought about doing that since I had a CatEye digital gauge on my YZF600 but to be quite honest, you won't need one unless having a larger MPH display is your motive. The new C-14 is about 2.5 mph short at 40 mph and 3 mph short at 60 mph. This is close enough for most riders. Personally, I use a GPS to give me exact speed, travel time and ETA to destination.

Just looking at calculated speeds which is why you need to know the wheel specs.

I agree GPS is the most accurate way to go but I thought it was cool to see the calculated speed in each gear.
