Waiting on New GTR being delivered quick question

Hi all
Just bought a new 2009 blue 1400 GTR recently and awaiting delivery cause of private plate transfer, sold my 2007 FJR and have been running a FZ1S 2009 model felt bike was a little too much and not enough if that makes any sense. Anyway bought bike from Cupar mcs Perth, got a good deal I think and also got 47L topbox, Pannier liners, tank pads, R&G heated grips and taller screen. Just ordered Blue Flame Tri oval dual port can and link pipe, Heli bar risers with satnav ramball fitting and fender extender.

Anyway my question is this I have a TOMTOM RIDER V2 and want to fit it to the bike wiring directly to ignition side I believe there is a electrical panel somewhere on the bike to connect auxiliary fittings if so where? pictures would also be a great help, it would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

Will no doubt return favour if I can cause intending to do most of work service etc myself, only job I did not do on FJR was valve adjustment learned to do rest myself although anything to do with wiring always requires correct advise and if unsure I will leave well alone!!

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

On the right hand side on the dashboard / Instrument panel area is a 12V cigarette type power supply. If you remove the right hand upper black plastic cover (3 or 4 #4 Allen Key bolts) it will give access to the wiring of the power supply.

It is two wires (Coloured - Solid Black and Black/yellow stripe) using push connectors. Easy to add anything to it, without cutting or splicing into any wires. The power is only on if ignition is switch to on - good for not draining the battery if something is left on.

Think the Black/Yellow is the live and the solid black is the ground - but test first.

there is a power connection under the left side panel in side a rubber boot. I used that for heated grips, it is powered only when the ignition is on too.
