Pilot Road 2ct's What Pressure You Running ?

Just got rid of those crap Bridgestone 021's at 9500km and I'm curious what pressures you guys are running in your Michelin Road 2ct's ? My dealer set me up with 36psi front & 40psi rear ? felt better than the old 021"s. Share your experience. Im running 40psi in both at the present seems good but yet get outa town. Also seeing more psi changes compaired to the 021s on the LCD display as they warm up and cool depending on how your riding ??

I am on my second set of the 2cts and after trying lots of different pressures I have found that 36 front and 40 rear is te best set up for me as well.

tire pressure is a very tricky subject. go to the manufacture website and they will let you know what the standard pressure should be. i had 2ct's before but used them for track. if your riding hard on them 30, 30 is usually standard. but for regular commutes i would go with the factory set tire pressure and then use your judgement on how it feels. FYI these tires tend slip under high speed cornering. myself and a few others have had this problem. almost highsided with these tires coming out of a corner at a trackday. since then got some dot race tires and no problems. i think it has to do with heat cycles or somethin.

You guys are running 2CTs on GTR 1400s? Holy crap! You must burn through some tires fast. I run them at 36/42 on the street according to spec, but that's on a 430lb 10R. I'm not sure I can even get my head around tires this soft on a 650+lb tourer.

I got 8k out of the last set, and I think that is very good for a big tourer, two up and loaded a lot of the time!

They are running the Pilot ROAD 2CT's I believe, not the softer Pilot POWER 2CT.

The ROADs are a recommended fitment for the GTR, I ran mine at 40 front and 42 rear and got just under 8k miles before I replaced them.
