secondary butterfly shaft removal

Hi. Does anyone now how I can remove the secondary butterfly shaft, in the throttle body. I have left one screw thread in the shaft while removing the butterfly`s. I would not like to try to extract the screw in situ, in case I drop any metal bit into the engine. Thanks Ken.

You would first have to remove the entire throttle body assembly from the engine, which is a lot of trouble to go to. Is there some reason you can't just leave the broken screw where it is and call it done? You wouldn't be the first to do so.

Also broke a screw in the shaft, left it in, but put some locktite on the screw to make sure that it will not come out.
